[Promoted] Can I add additional cities for advertising?

Modified on Thu, 23 May at 9:24 PM

Adding additional Ad Target Cities allows you to continue building clients, and tap into a new market. RateMDs uses Profile Banner Ads that will show up in both your primary Ad Targe City as well as your secondary Ad Target City.

As a part of your Promoted Plan, you can have up to two Ad Target Cities.

This information is housed under your 'Billing' information in your profile dashboard.

The primary Ad Target City, listed in the first line, is the city associated with your facility information, this cannot be modified unless your facility information has changed. The secondary Ad Target City, listed in the second line, can be added, edited, and removed by you when needed.

To edit your Ad Target Cities for advertising:

  1. Login to RateMDs.

  2. Click 'Billing' on the left sidebar.

  3. Under “Ad Target Cities”, use the text box to add additional cities of your choosing.

The Ad Target Cities will affect where your profile Banner Ads will be displayed, it does not affect the actual profile search results.

Using the above screencap as an example, Montreal, QC is the primary Ad Target City which is where the provider's facility is listed in. Mont-Royal, QC is the secondary Ad Target City chosen by the provider. This means this provider's profile Banner Ads will be displayed in both Montreal and Mont-Royal, QC. However, this profile will only be shown in the search results and profile ranking pages when patients search for Montreal, QC, and not Mont-Royal, QC.

Upgrading your Promoted Plan to Promoted Plus Plan will allow you to add more Ad Target Cities for more additional advertising!

You can upgrade your plan level at any time by:

  1. Login to RateMDs.
  2. Click 'Billing' from the left sidebar.
  3. To change your Promoted Plan level, select and click your desired plan.
