How do I update the insurances I accept?

One of the first things that patients, in particular those located in the US, look to on RateMDs is a doctor’s accepted insurance plans. Let your patients know which plans you accept in order to fast-track this process. 


To add insurance information to your profile, ensure you have already claimed your profile.


To update the insurance information on your profile:

  1. Login to RateMDs.
  2. Click on 'Insurance' on the left sidebar.
  3. In the 'Add Insurance Plans' section, start typing in the same of the insurance plan name.
  4. Select the desirable entry from the pop-up list that will appear as you type.



If a particular insurance plan you accept does not come up in the pop-up list when you type in the name, it means we do not currently have this particular plan in our database yet.


Please email us through our Contact Us page about this. Include the name(s) of the insurance plan(s) you would like to be added.
