Starting in August 2025, users with Promoted & Promoted+ profiles will be able to add Practice Highlights to their pages! This new element lets you spotlight up to 10 attributes that matter most to the patients searching for care in your area. Your selected highlights will appear as tags on your profile, helping patients to quickly understand what makes your practice unique – and why you may be the right match for their specific needs.

Setting up your Practice Highlights helps you:
Differentiate your profile from others in your specialty or region
Enhance your reputation with potential patients
Make a stronger first impression with prospective patients researching care
Build trust and transparency through a polished, informative profile
With more and more patients turning to RateMDs to evaluate their options and validate referrals, Practice Highlights helps ensure your expertise and unique skills are showcased – front and centre.
What can I highlight?
It's up to you! Up to 10 attributes can be selected from the following credential groups:
Languages Spoken – Reflect the communities you serve
Education – Showcase your training institutions and graduation year
Areas of Expertise – Highlight key procedures, services, or focus areas
Other Specialties – Perfect for multi-disciplinary or dual-certified providers
Awards & Recognitions – Share notable honors or distinctions
Publications & Research – Demonstrate academic contributions or thought leadership (with optional external links)
Selected highlights will be displayed in the same order as the credential groups listed above.
How to set up my Practice Highlights?
Getting started is simple:
Log in to your RateMDs account
Navigate to your Profile Dashboard
Click on the Credentials section on the left sidebar
Select up to 10 items from the available categories
Save your selections – they’ll appear immediately on your live profile
How do I disable or reorder my practice highlights?
Remove the Practice Highlights widget from your profile by deselecting all previously selected highlights from the Credentials tabs of your dashboard.
