Patients may want to request an appointment directly from your RateMDs profile after researching your ratings, clinic location, and other critical information. Your Promoted subscription comes with an Appointment Request widget that you can enable on your profile.
When you enable your Appointment Manager, patients have the ability to request an appointment directly from your RateMDs profile. Please keep in mind that your office will need to speak directly with patients regarding their inquiries and confirm appointments with your booking system.
Doing so is a two-step process.
Step 1 - Enable the Appointment Request widget to appear on your profile.
To enable or disable your Appointment Manager:
Login to RateMDs.
Click 'Appointments' on the left sidebar.
Click 'Enabled' in the top right-hand corner to activate your Appointment Manager. The same steps can be taken to disable the Manager.
Step 2 - Rating Manager Configuration
You may need to configure the widget to ensure that appointment requests are sent to your clinic correctly.
To configure your Appointment Manager settings:
Login to RateMDs.
Click 'Appointments' on the left sidebar.
Click the 'Click here to change appointment settings' line, shown in the above screencap.
From here, you can add an additional email address to be notified of new appointments, alter your appointment Notice Message, and compose a Thank-you Message for patients who sent in a request.
