How do I update my Hours of Operation?

Modified on Tue, 20 Feb at 9:47 PM

The Hours of Operation tool allows providers or their staff to add their working hours to their RateMDs profile. By adding your working hours, you can help prospective and existing patients understand where and when to book appointments with you. It is important to note that your Hours of Operation are intended to be your personal working hours at a facility rather than the facility’s hours.

Be sure to complete the following steps before setting up your hours:

  1. Claim your profile
  2. Verify your existing facility details & add any other clinics you work in

Once you have successfully claimed your profile and are logged in to your account, please go to the "My Hours" tab in your provider dashboard to start adding your schedule.

Adding a Schedule

  1. Login after successfully claiming your profile
  2. Visit the ‘My hours’ on the left panel of your dashboard
  3. Select the facility you’d like to define a schedule for by clicking on the “Add a Schedule” button
  4. Complete your weekly schedule by toggling between "Closed" and "Open" and “Add time slot”
  5. Hit ‘Apply’ to save your changes

Adding Time Slots

  1. Toggle to indicate “Open” for a specific day of the week
  2. Scroll through the drop-down menu to select the specific time(s) you are working at
  3. “Add time slot” if you are working multiple shifts at a particular clinic for that day
  4. Hit “Apply” to save your changes

Please note that the different facilities you have cannot have overlapping hours since the Hours of Operations is intended to be your personal working hours rather than the facility hours. You will see an error message if there are overlapping hours.

Once set up, your Hours of Operation will be displayed on your profile listing page for patients to view. Patients can click and scroll through to view all your hours at other facilities.
